More Fun and More Events Than Ever!
The Tour of Somerville Cycling Classic is celebrating its 75th anniversary! Fans can now experience three days of world-class cycling for professional and amateur cyclists over Memorial Day weekend.
The Tour of Somerville is an exciting cycling event, attracting over 600 professional and amateur cyclists, including our nation's top cyclists. Plus, don’t miss the newest addition to the Somerville race schedule on Sunday evening – the Somerville Sprints! Drag racing comes to Somerville’s Main Street as some the top sprint cyclists in the world compete in quarter mile races in speeds in excess of 40 mph.
But this event is more than just thrilling races; it's a community event. We honor American heroes as part of this special Memorial Day tribute. The parade to honor our fallen soldiers takes place on Monday morning before the bike races.
